This past week I had the privilege of attending the launch of Fame Week Africa,

an exciting experience of events, conferences, showcasing & webinars focused on arts, film, media & entertainment sectors. Fame Week Africa which is hosted by the City of Cape Town took place from Sunday, 3 October 2021 - Tuesday, 5 October 2021. Fame Week Africa aims to create opportunities by connecting industry creatives & professionals in a series of networking, meetings, conferences, film screenings, live music and theatre performances, into lasting business over a 3 day program jam packed with entertainment & exciting activities.

On the Sunday, 3 October 2021, the program rolled out with bus tours with City Sightseeing Cape Town, the 3 different bus experiences which were the art bus experience, entertainment bus experience & film bus experience. As an art enthusiast I hopped on to the art bus experience which included specially curated tours to Cape Town's biggest art museums, the itinerary started at the Iziko South African National Art Gallery in the morning, proceeded to Zeitz Mocaa, lunch at Raddison Red at the Silo District and the day concluded with a tour to Tokai at the Norval Foundation which is a contemporary art museum with beautiful architecture, spectacular scenery situated at the Steenberg Estate.

Conferences & other festivities took place on the 4th and on the 5th of October, concluded with the Fame Week Africa Reel Talent Showcase at Gold Restaurant. Fame Week Africa 2022 is set to take place from 24 - 26 August 2022. Stay updated by following them on their social media and website https://www.fameweekafrica.com/
