Most of us probably grew up at our homes with indoor plants that your mom or gran would ask you to water at least once a week, so it is not really a new trend that people suddenly have pot plants in their apartments and houses. Millennials seem to have adapted to nurturing and growing plants, there are several benefits of having pot plants such as cleaning air, boosting healing and well ofcourse the aesthetics. Some people have them at their work desks, as they improve concentration. What I love about indoor plants is watching them grow, I had an orchid (a flowering plant) which would grow buds which later bloomed into beautiful flowers, I actually got a young life lesson which is "flowers don't all bloom at the same time".
A friend of mine whom I asked what does she like about having plants said it's the responsibility of taking care of them and watching them grow which is a very beautiful process.
The correlation between home decor and indoor plants is their aesthetic, bright and beautiful colours which bring a sense of comfort, warmth and a home feel if you're renting, definitely a must have at your space.
